What to Expect on Your First Visit

Reception

Upon entering the office, we will have you fill out some short forms. This paperwork provides us with general information about you and your condition. Insurance information will be gathered at this time as well. For questions about payments, please click here. If you would like to get a jump start on your first appointment, you are more than welcome to complete the paperwork ahead of time. You can download it here.

Consultation

After the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with Dr. Scot to discuss your health-related problems and concerns.  The consultation is the start of our partnership, so please feel free to ask questions until you feel comfortable.  Our goal is to make you happier and healthier than when you came in.

Examination

Dr. Scot will ask you various questions related to your condition and mobility. Then, Dr. Scot will perform a number of specialized but gentle tests, including orthopedic, neurologic, and chiropractic to determine the nature and extent of your condition. X-Rays may also be taken to assist with an accurate diagnosis. Dr. Scot will then explain your condition, and you will be given your first chiropractic adjustment.

At Dr. Scot Chiropractic, we understand that the cost of health care is on the rise. It is our goal to make chiropractic care affordable to everyone. Our mission is to take the mystery out of conventional insurance coverage, workers' comp, and personal injury claims and make it as financially easy as possible on you to be able to afford exceptional care.  If you have no insurance, or do not have chiropractic benefits, don't worry!  We are still able to help you receive the care you need.  Our staff is on your side! 

Insurance Plans

For traditional treatment, we gladly accept most major insurance plans.


If you have been injured at work, or as result of a motor vehicle accident, these costs are usually covered 100% by an insurance carrier.  We will be happy to assist you with these claims and accompanying paperwork.

Payment Plans

For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs are provided.  We have highly affordable rates and flexible payment plans, which allow access to high-quality care for you and your family. In fact, many of our patients pay directly for their care, as our rate is often the same or better than their insurance coverage.  If you are still worried about the cost, check out our new patient special.  It's a great way to come in, meet our staff, and put your mind at ease about receiving chiropractic care.
