Frequently Asked Questions

What is chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a clinical science based on the Law of Biology/Homeostasis that states "The body is always attempting to return to 'normal'. The body has the power to heal itself if given the chance".  Chiropractic adjustments are performed to the spine and other parts of the body to correct alignment problems, ease pain, and support the body's natural ability to heal itself.

What conditions can you treat?

Chiropractic adjustments are used to treat a wide variety of problems. You can find more information here.

I have a Workers' Comp Case.  Can you help me?

Yes. If you have been injured at work, these costs are usually covered 100% by an insurance carrier. We are on the panels of most large insurance carriers. Our mission is to take the mystery out of insurance coverage and workers' comp. We're on your side!

I was injured in an auto accident.  Can you help me?

Yes! We are here to help. If you have been injured as result of an auto accident, these costs are usually covered 100% by an insurance carrier. We are on the panels of most large insurance carriers. Our mission is to take the mystery out of insurance coverage and personal injury claims.

How much will it cost?

For traditional treatment, we gladly accept most insurance plans. If you have been injured at work, or as result of auto accident, these costs are usually covered 100% by an insurance carrier. If you do not have insurance, we have highly affordable rates and flexible payment plans. For more information, click here.

Does the chiropractic adjustment hurt?

Under normal circumstances, adjustments do not hurt.  Chiropractic adjustments are safe, gentle, and effective movements of the spine used to stop the pain-spasm cycle.

How safe is chiropractic care?

Chiropractic care is one of the safest forms of health care available for the treatment of spinal conditions, especially when compared to the risks of medication and surgery. It is even safer than OTC drugs, such as Aspirin and Tylenol, which are the cause of over 30,000 deaths a year.

What can I expect on my first visit?

After we accept you as a new patient, we will fully explain your condition, and you will be given your first chiropractic adjustment. If you present with a non-spinal related condition, other treatments will be discussed. If it is not a condition we normally treat, or further testing is required, we will make a referral to the appropriate health care specialist.  New patient information can be found here.

How long will treatment take?

Your treatment plan is personal and specific to your body's needs. Many factors impact the treatment schedule including maintaining your appointments, completing your recommended exercises, the severity of your injury, how long the condition has been present, job duties, lifestyle, age, previous injuries, disc involvement, etc. Simple cases may take days to treat. More complicated cases may take weeks or even months.
